The interval of paying parking is from 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays, and from 8 am to 12 am near Mars square on Saturdays. Validation of the parking ticket has to take place immediately after parking your car at the designated area. Instruction to the validation process can be found on the parking ticket. SZEPARK Parking Branch provides opportunity for purchasing parking ticket via its contractors, at season ticket offices of Szeged Public Transport Company and at its customer service office.

Parking with pre-booked parking ticketIn order to validate your pre-booked ticket, you have to tear off the spot together with the top of the triangle marking the proper month, day, hour and minute of your arrival along the perforation. Upon validation described so, you have to display the ticket inside your car in such a way that can be easily checked from outside. Checking
Provided that you park without a season ticket or with an inproperly used parking ticket, you breach the rules and will be subject to paying extra charge.
Parking not complying with the regulation is recorded by the controllers of the company. They also make a video record of your car, and after documentation, they display a demand of payment onto the windscreen.
Video recordings are put in archived files. In legal disputes, the company can use them as proofs.
